That is the question that CFgear, the custom flash drive manufacturers in Sioux Falls, South Dakota are asking as a part of their effort to give back to the community with their Custom Flash Drive Giveaway Contest.
With the state of the economy right now, it is sad and unfortunate that public school funding has been taking a hit. Many budgets for classroom “extras” like technology have been totally eliminated as our public schools struggle to stay afloat during this difficult time. But as a teacher, you know what your students are missing out on.
“At CFgear, a main component of our mission statement is to give directly back to the communities that support us. Whether through countless volunteer hours, providing funding for local youth programs, supporting small school districts, and supplying large institutions with materials for special technology projects, CFgear is aware of these needs and actively supports them. Being located in the rural state of South Dakota, and having smaller school districts with very tight budgets, we’ve done many of these projects in our home state,” says CFgear President, Scott A. Van Egdom, adding that because CFgear has now expanded it’s scope far beyond just South Dakota, that they are hoping to extend their company’s outreach to other states “whose local groups could also benefit from such a promotional event”.
CFgear is now accepting written submissions for entry into the contest. All you have to do is tell CFgear how your classroom could benefit from winning 25 free, customized flash drives. For more information about CFgear and for full contest guidelines, visit the website and apply!
